I spent my early years cutting
& pasting ads together in St. Petersburg, Florida for
"FOCUS"
a local music magazine .
I also promoted local bands, clubs and put on local events
such as Eat magazine's Martini Fashion Show in downtown
St. Petersburg.
My partner and I started our own local events magazine in 95 called the
"Hitchhikers Guide to St. Petersburg", we were doing everything from
selling the ads, creating the ads, writing the articles to laying out the magazine ourselves.
Soon after we formed the company "Creative Vision's Graphic Design". This
was at the peak of and during the .com craze. Creative Visions later merged
with an ISP company in Atlanta, "Intereach Internet Services" where our
services began to lean more towards hi-end web development.
Until recently I was working at Star 94 in Atlanta as the Art Director and Webmaster
focusing on web development and a majority of the Star 94 artwork, such
as billboards and movie screens. I have attended the Art Institute of
Atlanta studying subjects such as Adobe Illustrator to Macramedia's Flash
Animation.
I have recently joined a team of the best programmers and artists in Atlanta at vexcom. I will be taking on the responsibilities of Creative Director.
I am very excited to be working with others that have the same artistic and technical skills as I have or even better. Radio had its perks, but it will be nothing compared to working with this extremely talented group. vexcom is before its time, is going to do great things and I am proud to be a part of it.
I have over 10 years experience in Design, Marketing & Web Development.
Many of my web and design skills are self taught and I am always learning
and growing to change with new technology.
My heart lies with painting in my art studio when I have time, but right
now I am making the world a little more beautiful through art and design. S:)
